During my recent stay at Hotel Podstine on Hvar Island, I found the experience to be reflective of what luxury travel should encompass-although this luxury comes at a premium. The room provided stunning views of the Adriatic Sea, reminiscent of floating on the water, which certainly contributed to its value proposition. Cleanliness is crucial when I travel, and the hotel's housekeeping maintained a spotless environment throughout my stay. The staff exhibited helpfulness and professionalism, which enhanced the overall experience. Dining at the hotel's restaurant for lunch and dinner was a delight; the menu showcased delectable dishes that complemented the picturesque setting. The beach bar allowed for leisurely afternoons with refreshing drinks while enjoying the serene coastline. While located just 20 minutes from Hvar's lively centre-striking a balance between tranquility and accessibility-the hotel's amenities such as direct beach access, a seasonal outdoor pool, and multiple relaxation areas enhanced my stay. Although the cost was notably higher during peak season, I believe the quality of service and the exceptional environment offer justifiable value for discerning travelers seeking to indulge responsibly amidst breathtaking landscapes.
